My farewell

Yesterday, I had a farewell speech including the bus drivers from Go Bus Transport and Ritchies.

Aidan and B.C. had a farewell too. I got a farewell gift, a calendar, a graduation certificate and a card. The calendar is about the United States railroads. I ate cherrios with non-sauce.

Mr. Cumming, Mr. Roberts and Mr. Spiers all came over.

In the afternoon, I bought a new headphones from Noel Leeming on George Street, it cost $14.99

Tomorrow is Guy Fawkes Day, I'll be listening to my favourite station The Rock 93.4 FM through the night starts from 18:30 Thursday to 06:30 Friday (12 hour run).

AB 608 Dunedin to Middlemarch

On the 25th of October, Dad and I travelled by a train to Middlemarch, The restored steam locomotive, AB 608, named "Passchendaele", was built by Addington Workshops in Christchurch in 1915. This coal burning steam locomotive is currently preserved at Steam Incorporated of Paekakariki, north of Wellington.

I stood on the observation deck and took photos and videos. At Hindon, the train stopped so the passengers could do the photo run by. I really enjoyed filming railway crossings as we zoomed by.

I was on the lookout at the end of Constitution Street, I saw Sun Princess, it's huge and heavy, like a floating hotel, it was built by Fincantieri - Cantieri Navali Italiani S.p.A., Triese, Italy in 1995, it cost US$300 million, it was completed in June 1995, maiden voyage in December 1995, the callsign is ZCBU6.

Next, I walk to On The Spot Convenience Store on George Street, I bought Jimmy's Mince Pie, Tip Top Trumpet Chocolate Ice cream, Orange Fanta and Bluebird Cheezels.

Earlier, I caught 2 bus trips between the city and Port Chalmers, the bus is Zhongtong (ex-Christchurch Bus Services) on routes 13 & 14
