Another Solo bus expedition

Last Friday, I went on another solo bus expedition. I walked through shopping malls (Wall Street, Golden Centre, Meridian & Centre City Mall). In the hospital area, I spotted an Otago Regional Rescue Helicopter landing on the helipad, it was too far to take a photograph. On my way home, I walked to the bus stop in the Octagon's Stand 1 to wait for route 26 to St. Kilda, then I pressed the Stop button near the end of Prince Albert Road.

Weekend Walks

On Friday after school, I walked to the Octagon all by myself. I wanted to take photos of buildings such as the Railway Station, the Municipal Chambers, First Church & JA 1274 at Toitu Otago Settlers Museum.

On the way there, I looked at the instruments at Begg's Music Works, I saw Epiphone Les Paul, Epiphone SG, Ukuleles & Bass Guitars.

I crossed over the Cumberland Street Overbridge (Opened in 1977), because it's a good safe to take photos of KiwiRail locomotives. I was away for 2 hours, I arrived at home at 17:41 after shopping at Pak 'n Save for a bottle of L&P (Lemon & Paeroa).

Mum was a wee bit worried about me, because it was getting dark!!!!

Next time, I'll be at home by 16:30 during winter months only!

My Monday destination was Andersons Bay & I issued a library book from the Book Bus, I used my library card. I had a toilet stop at Challenge Andy Bay. I took photos of buses & the Water Treatment Plant at Tainui.

Schools had to send children home early (shut or closed).

On Queen's Birthday at 23:17.59, there was a 4.7 strong earthquake 30km west of Dunedin. The epicentre was 7km deep. There was a noise like a freight train. Our house survived and I felt scared!
